Joseph & Ann strives to provide customers with the ultimate macaron experience. Our business was born when I watched a documentary about this amazing biscuit with its thin crisp shell, light and fluffy centre and indulgent filling. I was intrigued by the complexity in the process of making macarons and sort to educate myself in all aspects of macaron making.
Originally making them for friends and family I was requested to supply a local business.
During this time I appeared in the 2015 season of The Great Australian Bakeoff. This only fueled my desire to continue cooking and creating, however work circumstances had other ideas. The business was put on the back burner as we uprooted our life and moved to Brisbane for work commitments. 3 years later in June 2018 we relaunched the business under the BAKED by Joseph & Ann brand and have been supplying businesses in not only Brisbane, but NSW, SA and Canberra.
Due to repeated customer requests we launched our macaron subscription service in May 2019 with a view to supply premium quality macarons to people in many parts of Australia.
We continue to wholesale our products to businesses around the country.
